INTERNATIONAL MONODRAMA FESTIVAL "SOLO" IN MOSCOW.

PAM FESTIVAL
NYC 2012

MONTERA at the INTERNATIONAL THEATER FESTIVAL IN HAVANA, 2013.

Founded in 1980, this feast is a non-competitive rendezvous opening the island´s stages to those trends, ideas, proposals and dialogues which so many colleagues from around the world take the risk to show each day on the scene, as an act of faith in nature, lively and intense, the very notion of an authentic theatrical art.

In 2013 the theatre world will celebrate 150 years of Stanislavsky´s presence. The power of his legacy, his aesthetic and technical contributions as an actor, reformer and maitre en scene in Moscow´s Theater of Art.

This rendezvous in Havana will be thus dedicated to the actor´s memory and creative capability as a frame in which the human figure is able to incarnate various possible conceptions of life, tradition and avant-garde, past and future reuniting in the extraordinary moment of performing.

MONTERA in Moscow SOLO INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL, 2013.

"SOLO" is one of the most promising festivals in the world theatrical arena. A whole palette of solo performances by actors representing various drama schools, working both in Russian, and at European theaters are presented annually for Moscow spectators . "SOLO" includes performances from Russia, Germany, Italy, France, Israel, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine and the USA.

The chairman of SOLO festival’s organizational committee, Konstantin Raikin, the leader and actor of the Moscow-based theatre Satirikon views the format of a one-man show as “the most courageous” theatrical genre where the performers do their act face-to-face with the audience.

This International Festival honors that idea.

MONTERA in NYC at the 5th PAM Festival 2012.

21 days of pure unfiltered vanguardia, the festival showcase avant-garde dance, theater, and music for all audiences.

This festival honors diversity and creativity in all performing arts disciplines, as it gives talented new and seasoned artists a chance to showcase their craft. In selecting the participating productions, IATI looks for contemporary pieces that go beyond telling a story – that  are particularly unique and that demonstrate a high level of talent. We also favor productions that are unafraid to experiment all possible and necessary artistic expressions to deliver a distinctive story.
